GE's 360 Foam Wash

Deeper clean for improved
fuel efficiency

GE

Specially-formulated solution

GE's 360 Foam Wash is an alternative to the water wash method with more cleaning capability. The 360 Foam Wash cart injects a proprietary foam detergent into the engine that removes dust and dirt particles. The foam reaches target areas within the engine, helping restore engine performance and improve fuel efficiency.

GE's 360 Foam Wash is approved for use on multiple GE engine programs

Technical licenses can be obtained for models of GE90, GEnx and CF34, as well as Engine Alliance’s GP7200 engines. Foam wash was developed by GE technologists and tested in collaboration with customers worldwide.

360 Foam Wash testing with GEnx, GE90 and CF34 engines has shown some customers improved engine performance by reducing build-up of deposits in the engine, lowering engine exhaust temperatures, and improving engine compressor efficiency. These improvements led to reduced fuel consumption and increased engine time on wing.
